When researching suppliers and credible businesses to deliver their requirements, Print buyers want to work with a Number 1 in the field. Experience, Capability, Credibility and of course, Price.
The problem is that many Print Buyers do buy on Price when in truth, that should more often than not, definitely remain the last item to consider.
Harry working on one of the machines in our Screen Printing department
When looking for Litho Printing are they interested that a machine can run at 13,000 sheets per hour?
Or that Screen printing can provide Spot colours or half tones?
Or that Die Cutting Equipment costs are at almost half that of punch press with triple the productivity
Or that Encapsulation offers 1,3,5 and 10 gauge specification?
In truth, probably not.
The Print Buyer has a need to deliver within a project or a campaign or a marketing launch and Print needs become a problem they need to solve.
The discerning Print Buyer is looking for a solution. They want to buy Experience, Capability and Credibility and if it matches the budget available – job done!
